Interactive Workshop for: Middle level (EL1/EL2) public service managers

This three-day training program is designed to provide middle level (EL1/EL2) public service managers an understanding of the psychological challenges that community trauma creates and assist with staff management post COVID-19.

This program will assist managers to better understand the challenges that trauma imposes on our society, individuals and the way that they work. It will provide them with in-depth understanding of how to manage staff in the workplace, including through change, utilising a variety of skills, without causing psychological injury.

Kerry takes a holistic approach starting with a broad overview of the psychological factors at play when staff experience trauma, managing their return to work and providing a clear framework that needs to be followed to reduce likelihood of causing psychological stresses.

Learning Outcomes

During this program, participants will

Better understand the challenges that trauma imposes on our society, individuals and the way that they work
Learn how to manage staff in the workplace, including through change, utilising a variety of skills, without causing psychological injury.
Understand psychological challenges that community trauma creates and assist with staff management post COVID-19
